Retiree Access to Applications

If you are retiring or leaving Ithaca College, you will no longer have access to particular applications and services provided by the institution. Those who are of an Emeritus status or those who are retired but continue to teach at the College may have certain privileges restored.

  • Email: You will be able to keep and use your Ithaca College email account
  • Adobe: You will lose access to all Adobe applications. If you wish to purchase a new plan through Adobe with a non-College email address, visit adobe.com/creativecloud/plans.html. You will need to transition any files stored in your personal Adobe Cloud storage to another account.
  • Microsoft 365: You will lose access to your Microsoft 365 subscription through Ithaca College, which includes access to your files in your personal OneDrive. If you wish to purchase a new plan through Microsoft with a non-College email address, visit microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/business/compare-all-microsoft-365-business-products-b. There is also a free version of Office on the web: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/free-office-online-for-the-web
  • Zoom: Zoom accounts for retirees transition from a Licensed account to a Basic account shortly after the change of status to retiree. If you wish to purchase a licensed account or sign up for a free basic Zoom account with a non-College email address, visit zoom.us/pricing. A basic account allows you to host a meeting with up to 100 attendees, and up to 40 minutes per meeting.

If you need assistance in migrating your files and/or data from Ithaca College, submit a consultation request with the Business Productivity team.
