Weekly Canvas Tip #11: Resizing the Rich Content Editor

Resizing the Rich Content Editor

Ever feel cramped designing your pages in the Canvas Rich Content Editor window? Did you know that you can resize the window yourself, and that there is a full-screen option, as well? This Weekly Canvas Tip will address how to easily switch to a more spacious display for your Canvas editing with the Fullscreen view.

Resizing Manually

Look in the bottom right-hand corner of the Rich Text Editor. You will see an icon that looks like eight dots in two rows. This is the Resize icon. You can click and drag the Resize icon down until the Rich Content Editor is the desired size.

Accessing Fullscreen View

Next to the Resize icon, you will see the Fullscreen icon, which looks a diagonal double-sided arrow. If you click it, you will enter Fullscreen view.

NOTE: In Fullscreen View you will not see the “Save” button. To save your edits, you must exit from Fullscreen View first.

To exit Full-Screen mode, press the Escape key.

Alternatively, you can select View – Fullscreen to enter Fullscreen mode.

To exit, simply go back and deselect View – Fullscreen

After exiting, don't forget to click the blue "Save" button to save any changes made to your page while in Fullscreen view.
