How To: Activate Your Netpass Account

The Netpass username and password are used by virtually all campus community members to access numerous online services such as Outlook Web App (email and calendar), Canvas, and many other systems. Students, faculty, and staff will be required to change the password once per year.

Microsoft SSPR

You will activate your account through Microsoft Self-Service Password Reset. This is also where you will reset your password and manage your authentication information in case you forget your password.

How To: Activate Your Netpass Account with SSPR

Go to:

  • You will be prompted to enter your Ithaca College email address and complete a CAPTCHA. Please do so and click Next.
  • Select “I forgot my password” and click Next.
  • You will be prompted to use two of the verification methods you provided to the school or set up when you enrolled in SSPR.

You will now be able to sign onto the aforementioned sites with these credentials.

If you are unable to log into your account using SSPR, please contact the IT Service Desk for assistance.
