Introduction

How to check your iOS version

Compatibility is dependent on whether you have a recent version of iOS. Below are the steps to check your iOS version.

  1. Tap your Settings app.
  2. Tap General
  3. Tap About.
  4. Software version will be listed at the top of the page, or halfway down the page, depending on your version. Make sure it is at least 11.4 if you are a Duo user.

Adding your account

11.4 and Above

  1. Tap your Settings app.
  2. Scroll down to the Passwords and Accounts entry, and Tap it.
  3. Under the Accounts section, Tap Add Account.
  4. Tap Exchange to select your type of account.
  5. Enter your Full IC email in the Email field. The tab below is Description. This is a customizable label for the account and is there for you to identify your account in a way you will recognize it. It will automatically list "Exchange" if you do not enter anything.
  6. A prompt will ask you to either Configure Manually or Sign In. Tap Sign In.
  7. After loading, an in-window browser page will pop-up with the Microsoft login page. Enter your Netpass password here.
  8. A Duo window should pop up next. Authenticate with Duo with your preferred method.
  9. Another Microsoft window should come up asking for Permissions. Accept the permissions request.
  10. After confirming your sign in, it will ask you which Apps you would like to connect with your Ithaca College account (Mail should be turned on already, and the other options include Contacts, Calendars. Reminders, and Notes). Tap which apps you would like to sync. (These can be changed at a later date in the passwords and accounts section.)
  11. Press Save.

Below 11.4

  6. If the prompt refreshes and asks for a server, enter outlook.office365.com . Leave the domain field blank. You may leave any other settings as-is.
