Systems Review: Which account is which?


MyIthaca is a portal for prospective Ithaca College students. It can be accessed at Prospective students can create a username and password to be used for the account by using their personal email. Users of this account do not have an Ithaca College email assigned the them. 


As soon as a users Ithaca College e-mail account is activated (which creates the Netpass username and password), the user can login to myHome. The myHome portal provides faculty, staff and students with easier access to college and personal Web resources. With myHome, people can sign in once, and access their Outlook Web App (email and calendar), Intercom, IC Workflow, OrgSync, and many other services all without having to log in multiple times. Netpass credentials are all used to log into these accounts, whether or not myHome is used to access them. Netpass credentials can also be used to access the Ithaca College secure wireless network (IthacaCollege). can be used to manage Netpass credentials. Users can do a self-service password change in the site. Users who are locked out of their account or whose passwords have expired can get their password reset by the Service Desk after providing a valid photo ID. 

Users who are the owner of departmental accounts can access the account information and reset the password to the departmental by logging into their personal account and then selecting the account.


HomerConnect is used for course registration and class scheduling, housing selection, financial aid and tuition payment, meal plan selection, transcripts, and degree evaluation. Users can access HomerConnect via or, and log-in using Netpass credentials with Duo MFA.

For  assistance once you get through the DUO authentication, users should contact the Office of the Registrar or 607-274-3127.


Parnassus is used by Ithaca College employees. It is best accessed by opening through Parnassus uses the employee's Netpass username, but the password is different. The initial password is %IC and then the last 6 digits of the employee's college ID number. After logging in with this password, employees will set their own password for this account. If this initial password does not work, the account has not been set up and the user should contact their supervisor and/or the Office of Human Resources to get the account set up.
