Installing Toshiba print drivers on your campus device
On Windows 10:
The Toshiba drivers should already be pushed to your campus device. If they are not, follow the steps below:
- Click the Start Menu (at the bottom left of your screen)
- Type Software Center
- Press Enter
- Be sure that you are within the "Applications" tab (on the left hand side)
- Click PaperCut Print Deploy Client
- Click Install
Installing Toshiba printer queues via PaperCut Print Deploy Client
- After the PaperCut Print Deploy Client has been installed, access it by the Printer icon in the Taskbar.
- Click the Printer icon to View your printers. This will launch PaperCut Print Deploy Client, on the left side of the Window will be Add printers, select that and it will show printers that can be installed.
- Click Install for each of the Toshiba printer queues, \\icprinters\ToshibaBW and \\icprinters\ToshibaColor. This will install the printer queues on your assigned computer and once they have been installed both printer queues will show up under the My Printers tab on the left side of the application.
Once installed, your machine should now have the two Toshiba queues listed in your printer list.
If for some reason you have trouble with the steps listed above, you can install them like regular printers:
**Connect to GlobalProtect VPN if off campus before following these steps**
- Click the Start Menu (at the bottom left of your screen)
- Type \\ICprinters\ToshibaBW (for the black and white printer), press Enter
- Click the Start Menu again (at the bottom left of your screen)
- Type \\ICprinters\ToshibaColor (for the color printer), press Enter
On MacOS:
The Toshiba drivers should already be pushed to your campus device. If they are not, follow the steps below:
- Click the Spotlight Search (maginifying glass at the top right of your screen)
- Type Self Service
- Login using Netpass username and Password
- Click Install or Reinstall under "Print Deploy Client"
Once installed, your machine should now have the two Toshiba queues listed in the Printer & Scanners list.

If you do not connect to Global Protect's VPN OR
Connect to the IthacaCollege (secure) network, this process will not work. |
When prompted for a Username / Password: Enter your Netpass credentials
Netpass is the name before "@ithaca.edu" in your email

Other Important Information:
All print jobs will be held for 72 hours in the Print Release queue before it is removed automatically.
Once you send your print to the ToshibaBW or ToshibaColor printers, you are able to go to any printer on campus to release your print job.
ToshibaBW = Toshiba Black and White print jobs | ToshibaColor = Toshiba Color print jobs
Some Toshiba printers on campus are only able to print black and white.
